Artist’s statement:
“I refer to my style of work as Cubist Expressionist. My paintings tend to lean towards cubism, with geometric shapes that pulse with vivid color and vibrant brush strokes.
My intent is to capture the most significant parts of my compositions in fragmented pieces that are subtle yet strongly representative.
I like to express them in color combinations that are unique and striking.
I am also a pen and ink illustrator. With illustrations I prefer stark contrasts.
My paintings and illustrations are contemporary and influenced by the life and places around me, related to my life experiences but with new perspectives and different points of view.”
