Soni Budhia
Soni Budhia has been teaching art since 2017 and her students have won accolades at national level.
Soni regularly judges art events and art competitions held in various schools as well as different events in Oman .
Soni is a part of great Art Project GRATITUDE 50, project ( a masterpiece of Sultan Qaboos Portrait of 7 meters by 6 meters ) , represented by artists from 19 countries.

Awards and Achievements
*Won prestigious 2nd prize in “Paint for peace” art competition held in December2016 organized by Omani Society for Fine Arts(OSFA) in collaboration with Bhavalaya and Indian Embassy.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Art has always sourced happiness in me and has consistently been a part of my life. Art has given me confidence, recognition and a beautiful purpose in life.
I love to dabble in various techniques and explore more in mixed media.
I enjoy doing realistic and abstract work in oil, acrylic and water medium. I am presently working on sculptures as well.
I love to do more of impressionism and have some uniqueness in my artwork.
I try to incorporate a piece of wood painted to gel in with my painting ideas so that it creates a story with the painting.In my recentwork, I have used the creative technique of playing with shapes depicting movement and harmony
I work on commission. My paintings adorn the walls of many galleries and are part ofprivate collector’s collection.
My artworks have a distinct feature and can be identified in a glance.
I have also curated a few exhibitions.
